Job Description: Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design and commissioning of building mechanical & electrical systems including, fire protection, air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation, smoke control systems, power distribution systems, lighting systems, etc.
2. Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations to design & optimize ventilation, pollution control and fire & smoke control systems.
3. Understand and familiarize with Singapore authority requirements and adherence to Singapore building code of practices.
4. Involve with project site meetings to understand client requirements.
5. Participate in Testing & Commissioning phase of completed mechanical & electrical installations.
6. Appointed engineers will be attached to Senior Engineers who will provide Internal Training and Supervision.

Requirements:

1. A mechanical engineering degree recognized by the PEB of Singapore.
2. Familiar with M&E design, statutory code and requirements.
3. Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Electrical design consultant in an M&E consultancy firm or contracting firm.
